Carminabase database of mediæval incantation-formulæ

Carminabase is an online database of medieval incantation formulas. This work and research instrument is intended for medievalists specializing in magic, medicine or speech. It provides both direct and easy access to the sources of practice and a powerful tool that makes it possible to serialize texts and examine them systematically. The search-criteria are really interesting and useful. Note that the milieu is western Christendom from the tenth century until the fifteenth; do not expect a catalogue of medieval incantations across the board.
