Review of Roth and George, eds., Explorations in Music and Esotericism

We are delighted to have had the opportunity to read this new volume on two subjects dear to our heart here at the SHWEP. The volume is generally good, and contains a few gems. I wish they could have done a better job with the promising Carrington illustration on the cover; somehow the fonts, the mise en page, and the illustration don’t quite gel. But never mind that!

Find below our full review. This is emphatically not an academic book-review, and it’s pretty subjective, but might be a helpful guide to some people about what’s there between the covers.
